and sunny for the most part yesterday with blowing, howling winds...we walked to the store and then ended up going for a brisk, long walk in the freezing cold afterwards. What were we thinking? We dressed for the weather and enjoyed our time out there...but once we got home, it took forever to get warm. I think we were out just a wee bit too long! The old 'chilled to the bone' saying is not without merit...another pot of homemade chicken vegetable soup is on the menu for today. More snow expected tonight and tomorrow...we may get our White Christmas after all--we'll know soon enough!
