While we were down at the beach today we didn't see a lot of movement from this little fella, but he did stir a few times...especially when some lady touched him for her own entertainment to have him wake...she said he felt like cat fur...I cannot confirm that as I obeyed the signs and kept my distance and used the zoom...I know they can lunge a great distance quickly if they want to. Warnings are issued for a reason! Such a magnificent mammal...hope he gets to go back to the ocean soon!

Great pictures!! Is it normal for them to not be moving a whole lot when they are moulting? Just wondering.
