Antler Lake Fire

Pic Credits: Gold River Forest Fire group (www.facebook.com)
Visual update on the fire near my hometown that is still burning. One of over 800 wildfires burning in the province. More than 100 new fires are igniting each day in BC according to fire officials. Most are caused by lightning strikes. It is extremely dry and the fires are behaving aggressively. Time for a rain dance or 800!

Oh, that is so sad. Did you all not have a problem with forest fires before? My sister said that it is suppose to get to 107 (f) in Wenatchee this weekend. Way to hot! It's been in the 80's here. A fairly mild summer for us so far. (I hope I didn't speak too soon.)
