~Nutrient Dense Red Swiss Chard~
Take one large bunch of fresh Red Swiss Chard and rinse the leaves throughly...
both the leaves and the stalk are edible,
but I cut off the tougher bottom part of the stalks and chopped the leaves into one-inch strips.
Briefly sauté onion, garlic, ginger and crushed red pepper flakes in olive oil over medium heat before adding the chopped leaves. Cover for about 4-5 mins...add a couple tablespoons of water and flip the leaves before covering again for another 4-5 mins.
Once plated, drizzle with a bit of olive oil
(or butter if you prefer) and add salt to taste.
